A complete ground floor remodel and extension of a 1930s family house in Lewisham, south east London. The owners approached me for some help with the interior as they were struggling to visualise how the space would work and had little help from their then architect. They wanted something 'wow' but needed help in guiding them in the right direction. Although I'd not worked with George Evennett before, I'd seen his work and felt confident in recommending him. Together we steered the homeowners in a new direction, bringing life and enthusiasm back onto the project.
Nested at the end this urban London garden was space crying out for a garden room. This bespoke, handmade summerhouse was designed to make the most of the space and to create a calming, peaceful room to relax and enjoy.
A family home, renovated exceptionally well in the 70s, needed a complete overhaul when current owners purchased it. The only original features remaining were downstairs cornicing and some of the stained glass in the front door.
