Design Junction | London 2018

It’s not often I get to escape into London to indulge in a day of design, discovery and interiors. Last week I visited Design Junction on the South Bank, looking at great design, new and emerging creatives and some beautiful installations.

Greeted outside by the beautiful structure made of colourful ribbon and steel by François Dumas and Lisa White called Gateway to Inclusion. Followed by Urban Roof Garden’s design, which played perfectly with the windy conditions. Also seen in the flesh... The True Thinline Studs watch from @rado co-designed with the wonderful @bethangray. It is a thing of beauty. I feel quite proud - Bethan and I studied at university together. Who knew she would go on to create such iconic design pieces.

Ceramics below by Dimitri Bahler and Agus Garrigou at the Oxo Tower.

Beautiful scents by Earl of East London. Established in 2015, founders Nico and Paul offer a range of hand-poured, scented candles - 8 signature scents in 3 sizes and even a delicious chocolate, flavoured to complement the scents. Try the Shinrin Yoku candle, it’s heavenly.

The beautiful glowing light showcased by Mcinnes Cook and &New’s bold and graphic shapes both caught my eye.
